Amazon Journeys

In 2022, I worked at Amazon in the Devices & Services organization on the UX team supporting the Journeys online marketing tool. Journeys is an internal tool used primarily to produce 1st party device campaigns and promotions on Amazon.com. Online marketers create and manage a variety of page templates in Journeys to generate localized content on the homepage and detail pages for customers in North America, Canada, and Mexico.

Microsoft Yammer

I was a Kforce contract designer in 2021 on the core UX team for Microsoft Yammer. Yammer (now known as Viva Engage) is an enterprise social networking service that is part of the Microsoft 365 family of products. It is used mainly for private communication within organizations but is also used for networks spanning various organizations.

My work included feature releases for Nested Replies, Deletion Tombstones, Deep Link Notifications and Publisher Replies. I provided Fluent auto-layout and variant responsive designs in Figma for dark and light themes, as well as compact versions for inclusion within Microsoft Teams Q&A and Yammer Live Events. Microsoft Azure Machine Learning Studio

In 2020, as a Kforce Senior UX Designer, I worked with artificial intelligence at Microsoft in the UX team supporting the Azure Machine Learning Studio product. Azure Machine Learning Studio is a GUI-based integrated development environment for constructing and operationalizing Machine Learning workflow on Azure — a centralized place for data scientists and developers to work with all the artifacts for building, training, and deploying machine learning models.

I was exposed to AI computer modeling and cloud computing, received training, conducted research, and contributed design, with regards to user experience and the service offerings and processes required as a Microsoft Azure customer. My projects included shipping the Day Zero feature, focused on increasing subscriptions by making it easier for customers to initiate workspace, quickly train models and register for services on the first day of use. I worked within the Microsoft Fluent design system, not only adhering to and promoting UX components in my Figma designs for developer handoff, but also creating and contributing visual assets to the Azure isometric illustration libraries for continued use.
