Hydrographic Data eCommerce - Web App

OneOcean provides users a way to manage, access and exchange marine geospatial data. This web app was created to utilize cloud-based technology in order to view abstracts of big data and key information therein. The client needed substantial product design including storyboarding workshops, UI/UX efforts and visual designs. I kicked-off this project and later lead a small team of junior designers in the final deliverables. I was responsible for much of the conceptual UI and innovative product features, such as 'navigating multiple extents in target view' and 'managing my data in file view'. This project was tough to get going but mentoring and inspiring a young team was very rewarding.
